The challenges, competition, and unity in the healing Industry

What nobody will tell you

The allure of the path of the healer often draws in people with a genuine passion for helping others, seeking to spread love to the world. It's a field where compassionate souls aim to make a positive impact on people's lives.

However, behind the scenes of the warm glow of candles and soothing incense, there's a stark reality that many newcomers might not anticipate. Aspiring healers are often exposed to harsh truths that, at times, remain unspoken.

The healing industry, with its promise of solace and restoration, tends to attract individuals who may themselves be grappling with various personal issues, ailments, or emotional burdens. Many are drawn to this field seeking healing and relief, driven by a profound desire to find remedies for their own struggles. As a result, it's not uncommon to find individuals who are still in the process of addressing their own health and well-being concerns within the ranks of healers.

Competition can be fierce, and the desire to make a living from healing services can add financial stress to an already demanding profession. Healing and business are two different skill sets, which is why there are a lot more failure stories than success. Those who become successful in the field, attract jealousy and hostility.

Unfortunately, I have seen too many times how people resort to backstabbing or sabotaging fellow healers, in an attempt to gain a competitive edge. It is a harsh reality that the very same people who preach love and light can sometimes resort to unimaginable measures to hinder those they perceive as doing better.

It's crucial to remember that such negative behaviors aren't representative of the entire healing community, as many practitioners prioritize collaboration, mutual support, and the welfare of their clients. However, in any field, competitiveness and personal struggles can lead to interpersonal conflicts.

Building a more harmonious and cooperative healing community often requires fostering empathy, healthy competition, and open dialogue to address the challenges and pressures faced by healers and to ensure the focus remains on the well-being and healing of those they serve.

New healers, as you embark on this journey, it's essential to recognize the unspoken truths of the healing industry. The path of a healer is not all love and light. The challenges and competition are real, and not everyone will uphold the principles they preach. Yet, within this complexity lies the opportunity for growth, both personally and professionally.

If you are prepared to face this reality head-on, the path of a healer can be immensely rewarding. It is a calling that demands resilience, authenticity, and a steadfast commitment to helping others despite the hidden shadows. The choice is yours to make – between the glittering facade and the genuine path of transformation, authenticity, and true healing.

The journey of a healer is undeniably challenging, often characterized by the scarcity of authentic support. I extend a heartfelt invitation to join our community, a nurturing and inclusive space where people genuinely value and support one another: https://www.facebook.com/groups/550233906001876
